Hello all! (Though I am sure the only one that still checks this is Adam) The KMCC is finally completed! Remember when we had the Right Start briefing when we got here and they said it would be done by X-mas 2006 LOL how about late summer of 2009...anywho, man how I wanted to hate it...I wanted to pride myself in never going in, never thinking about it, looking down on people who shopped there exclusively but my mom, being the consumer that she is, said You are taking me to the new BX!!! ( that was last night) and now my feelings toward the KMCC? well...it's amazing, spectacular, huge and EVERYTHING IS IN ONE SPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That alone sold me. "What do you say? I can buy beef jerky, a lawn mower, new bed sheets, a plasma TV screen, new draws, and a bottle of Crown Royal IN ONE SPOT?!?!?" (not that any of those things were purchased by me) love it....so yea, I'm an American which = consumer...its a cultural thing, not my fault :P

So I hope you find a job soon and go to wherever it is you are supposed to be going...Caelan prays for his Daddy morning and night so you should be good to go :)

Indian summer

Usually, by this time, the air has turned crisper and its jacket weather. This seemed to be happening about a month-2 weeks ago. But then, its hot again! The morning is kinda chilly, like around high 40s but during the day its sunny and mid to high 70s. And its the end of September!! Crazy, I know but I am enjoying it! You know I am a sun baby. But on what I thought was the last warm day of the year, we cleaned out the little kiddie pool the neighbors gave us and gave little man a bath outside. Like everything, he was a little standoffish to the whole situation at first. "Um, this is not how I usually take a bath, Mom." But then of course he was slapping the water and kicking away, splashing and havin' a grand old time. Most of the pictures are not for Internet posting since it was a bath and little man is in his birthday suit but I got one post worthy one. Here it is!

H1N1 breakout...and other random musings :)

Bah, so for the last two days I have been feeling...off. Not like sick but just off. Throat kinda hurts, head kinda hurts, stomach kind feels sick...dunno. I hate the waiting, like if I'm going to get sick, well then COME ON, so I can get over it. To make matters worse, we are being directed to take the flu mist. The powers that be have decided that the flu mist is SO important that they felt that a picture of the wing commander receiving the flu mist-and I mean like full-on flu misty applicator thing up his nose-in the newspaper. Very odd. Oh, and by the way, its Hispanic heritage month! YAY! There had interviews with some random Hispanic people. It was sos funny cause one of the questions was, "What do you like best about being Hispanic?" LOL um, lawl wut? I would have said, "um being able to tan?" lol So what do you like the best about being white? haha I will take lots of pics of buddy tomorrow at the birfday party

Hello!

Sorry I haven't written in a long time. With the situation of your internet, I am not sure if you even have the opportunity to czech this. The season is definitely changing: the trees have begun to turn different colors and the air is crisper, especially in the morning. It is even begginning to smell like Fall, you know, that special Fall smell. Though I am not excited to put my summer clothes away so soon, I am excited for my favorite season. And if we are in a new season, it means that time has passed which means it is closer for you to come home, sigh. It feels like you will never be home. This Saturday we are going to Dorian's first birthday party and then Sunday we are going to watch some USO Sesame Street show. Zoe has begun to take a special interest in Caelan. Now she actually gets excited when she sees him. She runs up to him and starts smelling him and of course Caelan is super ecstatic. This is all for now. Saturday I will take my camera and take pictures of buddy playing with babies!

Haapy Birthday Daddy!!!

Today is your big day!!! Did you celebrate it by playing spades, lifting weights, eating at the chow hall, missing us? Sounds exciting...Today you are a quarter of a century old. I thank God for bringing you into my life and giving me the gift of finding my soulmate. I celebrate your life and our life since every year that you grow older is another year I get to spend with you. Yesterday I was talking to your Dad on skype and I was telling him about the sucky jobs for retraining and I said, "Well, I feel like any of the jobs I choose will be for me to get a retirement check and to feel as if the last 7 years of my life aren't a total waste of time." And he said, "Of course it hasn't. You met Adam and you had Caelan." That is so completely true and I am glad that he said that. I guess I hadn't thought of it that way. I really hope we get to talk to you today. We were thinking of going to the Frankfurt zoo but we decided to saty home to wait for your call. Sometime today I do need to make it over to the commissary but other than that I will be here. Today I started my humanities class. My instructor is an actor and, looking at his profile pic, super fabulous. lol Please please please please try to contact us today. I'll try not to completely hog you since your mom and your brother would like to talk to you...bah, I can't promise I won't be selfish, can't I blame it on the fact that I'm an only child :P

2009 IS AWESOME!!!

I am so glad we have internet again!!!! Hector was so nice and patient, he seriously came over like five times including the web cam fiasco. Hopefully, there is nothing else that goes wrong with the internet until you get back. I really hope you get to wherver it isthatyou are going soon so I can start counting down the days. It is already turning cold here. I feel like I just put my winter clothes away and took my summer clothes out. Now I have to do the dance again, boo. I'm going to the Bernkastel-Kues wine festival tomorrow which should be interesting. I haven't gone to that one yet. I heard there is going to be fireworks which kinda sucks. You won't be there to hug and feel safe. Yes, I know it is completely ludicrous to be scared of fireworks but there have been stories of people being burned!!! Ok, yea, I'm dumb for being scared of fireworks...I love you! I am posting a video of buddy waking up from a nap...I love that little man, he is so awesome....
